Hotel Bologna Airport

“I stayed several nights at Bologna Airport Hotel and genuinely enjoyed the experience. The hotel has plenty of space for business meetings and medium-sized events, yet it still felt relaxed and comfortable after long days exploring downtown Bologna and competing in the tournament arranged at the hotel. I had lunch twice at the hotel restaurant, and both meals were good. Special mention goes to the tiramisu — dangerously good and absolutely worth trying, even if you already told yourself “just coffee today.” The hotel bar also serves a very enjoyable Spritz, which felt like the perfect traditional Italian aperitivo after a busy day. Getting to downtown Bologna is easy thanks to the local bus line stopping nearby. Unless you are in a major hurry, I highly recommend the bus over a taxi — especially when the taxi ride costs more than ten times the price of the bus ticket. Your wallet will thank you. Within walking distance there is also a shopping mall, and with a bit more walking you can reach the legendary Ducati Museum. Be warned though: visiting the museum may suddenly create a very convincing argument that maybe you actually do need a new motorcycle after all.”

“This was only a 8 min drive from the airport. They offer a shuttle, have am authentic restaurant and bar. The rooms were beautiful and very stylish. We had the 5th floor with a huge balcony. They do allow smoking on the balcony but not in the room. Their breakfast was well stocked.”
